Problems we are solving or opportunities we offer

QACTREP prepares program development and coordination work to implement and maintain a quality management program that effectively measures, assesses, and continuously improves the access to and quality of care and services provided to the Consortium.

Academic Growth

Academic achievement is a central priority for educators, policy makers, and mental health workers. We encourage clinicians, including instructional staff and support worker staff, to implement evidence-based and developmentally matched intervention guidelines in the general education setting, including social-emotional learning and mental health literacy curricula.

Training & development

We provide interconnected activities that facilitate shared learning, service development and innovation promoting whole mental health recovery practices. We train clinicians in the Consortium to recognize mental health issues is an important step in ensuring everyone has the knowledge and help they need.

Research

QACTREP prepares program development and coordination work to implement and maintain a quality management program that effectively measures, assesses, and continuously improves the access to and quality of care and services provided to the Consortium.

Ethics

Ethical discourse about mental health treatment has typically focused on paradigmatic concepts of individual autonomy, competence, paternalism, and appropriate justifications for overriding individual decision-making and restricting individual liberty. QACTREP educates on the rights of patients with mental illness and lays down the ethical and legal responsibilities of mental health professionals and the government.

Partnership and fundraising

Our charitable partners are key to helping us raise funds, reach large audiences and change the picture for people affected by mental illness. Our partnerships aim to build an understanding of mental health in the workplace, and we encourage participation in volunteering and fundraising activities linked to mental health. Partnerships help QACTREP create change for people affected by poor mental health.
